Gift

The sun felt so warm and welcoming this morning, we took down the heavy winter drapes in our front room, and hung our spring curtains. Shellie then treated me and Nik to a sausage link, eggs over easy, and silver dollar pancake breakfast. I had a cup of orange juice and a glass of milk along side. I sprinkled salt and pepper on the eggs, and put butter and maple syrup on the pancakes.

I thought, living a life with dignity; being able to enjoy some of the simple fruits of the earth that God has blessed us with; and bearing the hope of happiness in their heart, should be a vouchsafe for every person on Earth.
