Dogs Are People Too

A recent video gone viral is the Hawthorne, California police officer who repeatedly shot to death a handcuffed detainee's pet dog. Yes, the dog was in posture to protect its master, but that's what dogs do. A Toy Poodle will try to defend its territory and family. This video has brought to the forefront, other recent stories of police pursuing suspects through backyards and shooting household pets, as well as shooting pets during police home invasions. This is clearly a pre-planned policy of intimidation by the authorities. Coupled with the Supreme Court ruling that police dogs are Officers of the Law, and if a citizen attempts to defend themselves against these highly trained and motivated attack animals, it is considered to be an assault on an Officer of the Law, an extremely serious charge. And if a citizen kills a police dog, they can receive the death penalty. So in other words, our dogs are sacks of shit to be shot down, and their dogs are Human.
